H6 frontal styling is now les toothy, more teardroppy.

GWM claims its facelifted Haval H6 is "punctuated by premium details", with revised exterior and interior features. First shipments arrive later this month.

Haval H6 Ultra.
Hybrid powertrain is carried over: 179kW/530Nm, 5.8l/100km.

The new styling features a reshaped grille, "teardrop" running lights, new tail-lights and more prominent GWM badging. Nineteen-inch alloys in black are now standard and there's a new Astral Pearl hero colour available (pictured).

The range has been rationalised to just two hybrid models: the $42,990 Lux and $45,990 Ultra. Inside, the main change is a larger 14.6-inch central information screen, powered by a newer generation of software.

GWM also says the cabin layout is designed to be more driver-focused and offers more storage options now that the gear selector has moved to the steering column.

GWM Haval H6 HEV Ultra.
Upsized 14.6in screen dominates new interior.

Equipment exclusive to the top Ultra incudes Panoramic glass roof, heated/ventilated front seats with memory/welcome and power adjustment (the latter for the front-passenger as well), upgraded audio, automatic parking/reversing and front-rear sensors (a 360-degree camera is standard across the range).

Brave Ultra buyers also have the option of cream-coloured leather-accent upholstery (the default is black).

The 1.5-litre turbo-petrol hybrid powertrain is carried over unchanged, with 179kW/530Nm and combined fuel consumption of 5.8l/100km (3P-WLTP).
