The Mercedes-AMG G 63 is not exactly short on presence, but Larte Design has found a way to make the boxy performance SUV even louder.
The tuner has launched a new Colour Programme for its upgraded G-Class range, allowing customers to finish carbon-fibre parts in almost any shade they fancy. To show what is possible, Larte has previewed a turquoise-and-black G 63 inspired by the Mercedes-AMG Formula 1 team’s livery.
Carbon, now with colour

The images are renderings for now, but the treatment is anything but shy.
Black covers the bonnet, rear quarter panels and tailgate, while the rest of the exterior wears a bright teal finish.

The same colour extends to exposed carbon-fibre elements, including the spare wheel cover, roof spoiler, front splitter and rear diffuser. The bonnet is the main party trick, with black carbon fibre fading into teal carbon fibre.
It is a clever material flex, even if the end result will not be for anyone who prefers their G-Wagen in polite monochrome.
Winner kit gets louder

The makeover uses Larte’s Winner body kit, which already pushes the G-Class into more aggressive territory.
It adds redesigned front and rear bumpers, broader wheel arches and a more dramatic bonnet.

The rendered car also wears aftermarket wheels finished with black and teal detailing. Subtle, again, is not really the direction of travel here.
Larte says it can develop virtually any colour a customer wants, which should suit G 63 buyers who find factory paint menus a little too restrained.
Six figures before the G

The most basic Larte kit with 23-inch wheels costs €44,276, or about NZ$87,800, and can be customised in one colour.
Buyers wanting a custom colour across the kit will pay from €74,276, roughly NZ$147,300. Adding a matching interior lifts the price to at least €89,276, or about NZ$177,100.
There is one rather important catch: none of those figures includes the Mercedes-AMG G 63 itself. Customers can supply their own vehicle, or Larte can source one.
Larte has not disclosed whether the teal F1-inspired render will become a completed customer car. Still, for anyone who thinks a standard G 63 is too quiet visually, this should do the job rather comprehensively.
