- Alfa Romeo is rolling out Edizione Luna Rossa across Junior, Tonale, Giulia and Stelvio in European markets.

Alfa Romeo is taking its partnership with Italian sailing team Luna Rossa beyond a single limited-run Giulia. A new Edizione Luna Rossa series is headed for the Junior, Tonale, Giulia and Stelvio, giving each model its own take on a shared nautical look.
The four cars will be introduced progressively across Europe, where the edition sits at the top of each model range. Red Alfa Romeo badges, Luna Rossa logos and a palette built around white, black, grey and red link the line-up. Beyond those common details, the smaller crossovers and larger models take different approaches.
Junior and Tonale get the grey treatment
Junior and Tonale can be finished in a new grey inspired by the sailing team's flotation gear, with a Luna Rossa stripe along the side and gloss black exterior trim. Black and white paint choices are also offered. Junior rides on 18-inch gloss black wheels; Tonale gets edition-specific 20-inch versions.
Inside, both use 3D Knit upholstery with a textured pattern. Junior adds sail-inspired graphics to its dashboard fascia and centre tunnel, while Tonale carries the theme into its ambient lighting. Red badges on the steering wheels, aluminium pedals and model-specific upholstery complete the changes. The edition is offered with hybrid or electric power in Junior and with the Tonale's hybrid and plug-in hybrid options.
More carbon for Giulia and Stelvio
Giulia and Stelvio lean harder into performance cues. Their carbon fibre details include the front badge and mirror caps, while Giulia also gains side skirts and a spoiler that reference the Quadrifoglio. The saloon gets 19-inch dark wheels and the SUV has 21-inch wheels, both paired with red brake calipers.
Leather, more carbon fibre and ECONYL fabric feature inside. Alfa Romeo says the regenerated nylon is partly sourced from fishing nets recovered from the seabed. A Harman Kardon sound system and electronically controlled suspension are standard on these two versions.
The sailing connection runs deeper than the badges. Alfa Romeo says it has shared its simulation and vehicle dynamics expertise with Luna Rossa, including work on software that controls the boat's sails.
UK orders open on 1 December 2026, with the first cars due there in the first quarter of 2027. Alfa Romeo has not announced New Zealand availability or local pricing for the series.
