Saudi Arabia's emerging carmaker Ceer has unveiled Exobot, its first family of electric vehicles and a striking opening statement built around two body styles.
The range begins with a sedan and SUV, giving the new brand a broad starting point rather than asking one model to carry its ambitions. Ceer says Exobot will lead a seven-model product plan.
High-voltage foundations
Underneath, Ceer says the vehicles use an 800V electrical architecture, providing the foundation for the ultra-fast charging capability the company is promising.

Ceer's claimed range reaches 670km for the sedan and 560km for the SUV, although final certification and test-cycle detail will matter when production specifications are confirmed.
At the top of the family, Ceer claims 1111hp — approximately 828kW — and 1500Nm. The company has not yet turned those figures into a complete market-by-market specification or disclosed a charging time.
A technology-led cabin
Ceer is also placing emphasis on the experience inside. The company describes an intelligent cockpit supported by safety and driver-assistance features, although the precise equipment mix has not yet been detailed.
The approach positions Exobot as more than an industrial milestone. It is a consumer-facing attempt to establish a Saudi-born electric car brand with modern charging, cabin technology and assistance systems from the outset.
Important questions remain unanswered. Ceer has not announced New Zealand availability, local pricing or a launch date, and nothing in the reveal establishes that either body style will be offered here.
For now, the sedan and SUV are best read as Ceer's opening showcase: two closely related EVs intended to introduce the brand, its technical priorities and the direction of its first electric family.
