Team Hutchinson is the only New Zealand agent for performance upgrades from Melbourne company Herrod Performance, which is in turn an official outlet for Ford Performance. It develops many of its packages with assistance from Ford's own internal data.

The Raptor upgrade centres on the 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6, which is boosted by an additional 88kW/197Nm, paired with a bespoke PWR-designed intercooler and additional transmission cooler. The aim is sharper throttle response and smooth power delivery.

The upgrades are still covered by the factory warranty.

Herrod has been producing Raptor upgrades in Australia since 2023. It's good at it.

"Reaching our 100th Herrod Performance Ranger Raptor in under 12 months is something we're incredibly proud of," says John Hutchinson, dealer principal of Team Hutchinson Ford.

"What started as an opportunity to bring one of Australia's most respected performance brands to NZ has grown into a genuine success story, thanks to strong dealer support and the passion of our team."

It's official: the Kiwi hot 100.

"This milestone is a real testament to what a great collaboration looks like," says Rob Herrod, founder of Herrod Performance. "It shows the strength of the partnership with Team Hutchinson Ford, and the appetite Kiwi drivers have for a genuinely elevated Ranger Raptor."
