'Golden Battery' technology for RWD model is derived from larger 7X.

Both the $59,990 RWD and $69,990 AWD models (pricing unchanged from the outgoing version) get a new 250kW rear motor, an increase of 50kW over the previous car. With the AWD's extra front motor, it now makes 365kW.

The RWD has also gained the LFP Zeekr "Golden Battery" already used in the RWD 7X, featuring cell-to-pack architecture and increased charging speed. The RWD can now power-up at 230kW, Zeekr claiming a 12 minute reduction in charge-time from 10-80% (18 minutes).

The AWD retains the NCM battery, with 150kW maximum charge rate.

But AC charging has allso improved for both models, up to 11kW for the RWD and 22kW for the AWD.

Both models have an upgraded driver-asisstance package, employing 5 high-definition cameras, 5 millimetre-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic sensors and Remote Parking Assist.

Entry RWD gets a big boost in equipment, including seat heating and Yamaha sound system.

Interior materials have been finessed for a more "premium" feel says the company. Several equipment features formerly listed as options on the RWD are now standard: these include heated front and rear seats, inductive steering wheel controls and a 13-speaker Yamaha surround-sound audio system. The AWD has gained massage front seats and an onboard fridge.

New options include a renewed range of exterior colours, with anything other than white costing $1000 - or $2000 for the AWD-exclusive option of Mattte Khaki Green.

AWD buyers can also add electric front doors ($2000), and a package of black interior with red seat belts/stitching and 20-inch wheels ($2000). The larger forged alloys are also available as a standalone option for the AWD.
