- MG will reveal two concept cars at Goodwood, previewing future electric models for the brand.
- One concept points to a B-segment electric hatchback scheduled to join MG's range in 2027.
- The display also includes robots, electrified showroom models, and three MGs on the hill climb.
MG will use the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed to preview two future electric models, including a small EV due to join its range in 2027.
The brand will host a stand at the event from 9-12 July, with two concept cars set for world debuts.
MG says one will preview a B-segment electric hatchback, placing it in one of the most important parts of the city-car and small-car market.

The second concept is described as an electric design vision for a more aspirational upcoming model. Further details and images are due when Jozef Kaban, MG Global Design Vice President, reveals the cars at 11:00am on Thursday 9 July.
MG's wider Goodwood showcase
The Goodwood display will also lean into MG's broader electrified range and technology showcase. Interactive robots will appear on the stand alongside plug-in hybrid, Hybrid+ and electric models, including the MGS9 PHEV, MG4 EV Urban, MG IM5, MG ZS Hybrid+, MG HS PHEV and MG Cyberster.
MG will also send three models up the Goodwood hill climb: the MGS9 PHEV, MGS6 EV and MG Cyberster.
For MG, the concepts appear to serve two roles. The B-segment hatchback points toward a more mainstream electric entry, while the design vision suggests the brand is still chasing more emotional and higher-profile EVs after the Cyberster.
That makes Goodwood more than a display stand for current products. It gives MG a public stage for the next part of its EV plan, from attainable small cars to design-led halo models. More detail will follow when MG unveils the cars at Goodwood.
