Mini's new Countryman Untamed Edition adds camping equipment and protective body details, with a suspension lift and all-terrain tyres available in selected markets.

A 15mm suspension lift increases ground clearance by up to 19mm, depending on the powertrain and market. In the United States and Canada, the lift applies across the range; in Europe, it is reserved for the electric versions.
Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus rubber is standard in North America, optional in Europe and offered through aftersales in other markets. Mini has not disclosed New Zealand specifications, pricing or arrival timing.

Equipment for getting away
The Untamed range can include Countryman C, D, S ALL4, E and SE ALL4 variants, depending on market. The C, D and E are offered alongside the all-wheel-drive S ALL4 and SE ALL4.
Its exterior changes include 19-inch wheels, protective film around the wheel arches, side sills and bonnet's Power Dome, plus revised underbody elements finished in Dark Steel.

For overnight stops, Mini has partnered with Italy's Autohome on a roof tent with gas struts, while Helinox supplies chairs and tables. The Countryman has a maximum towing capacity of 2000kg, and its roof can carry 75kg while driving or 300kg when stationary.
Paint and production
Frozen Nomad Blue becomes the first matt paint finish on a series-production Mini. Buyers can also choose Hideaway Grey, Nomad Blue, Nanuq White or Midnight Black.

Inside, the edition combines Nightshade Blue Vescin seat upholstery and knitted surfaces with Cornflower stitching. Straps on the centre console and rubber mats continue the practical theme.
Production starts at Leipzig in November 2026, with market introduction scheduled for early 2027.
