- Alpine’s full-size sculpture previews the silhouette of the third-generation A110, ahead of its October Paris Motor Show appearance.
- Design cues include a V-shaped nose, dual-light signature, teardrop cabin and broad arches beneath a flowing blue veil.
- The sculpture sits on Alpine’s Performance Platform, while production specifications and New Zealand availability remain undisclosed.
Alpine has offered a first look at the shape of its next A110, but the reveal is an artistic sculpture rather than a finished production car.
A familiar silhouette beneath the veil
The full-size piece, unveiled on 28 September, is a design interpretation of the third-generation sports car. A flowing blue veil traces its outline, leaving a V-shaped nose, distinctive dual-light signature, teardrop cabin and broad wheel arches to emerge from beneath the fabric.

Alpine says the work draws inspiration from the Concorde, with the sculpture intended to bring together art and technology. It will be shown at the Paris Motor Show in October.

A platform shared with the A110 Future
The sculpture rests on Alpine’s Performance Platform, the architecture also used by the A110 Future demonstrator that ran at Goodwood in July. That earlier car was a hardware mule; this new piece is a separate development focused on the next model’s design.

The platform connection gives the sculpture a technical foundation, but Alpine has not yet revealed the production car’s powertrain, output, battery capacity, range, weight or other specifications. Nor has the company confirmed whether the next A110 will offer an internal-combustion option.
That leaves the sculpture to do one job: give a sense of the car’s proportions and visual direction. Its broad arches and low, compact cabin nod to the familiar A110 shape, while the lighting and sculpted front point towards a fresh interpretation.
Alpine has not announced New Zealand availability or a local launch timeline. The Paris appearance is the next public showing, with production-car details still to come.
