Four cars, four characters
Bentley is bringing together four strikingly different expressions of its identity for the first Stazione Remota gathering in Carmel Valley during Monterey Car Week.
The oldest is the 1926 Super Sports known as Smoky, which Bentley says is making its first visit to the United States in 100 years. Its presence establishes the historical end of a display that otherwise focuses on newer creations.
That is because the remaining cars head firmly in different directions. The Bentayga X Concept offers an off-road-focused preview, while a second Bentayga has been transformed into a Joe & The Juice coffee bar. A new Supersports in Dragon livery completes the modern trio.
Put side by side, the four cars create a deliberately broad enthusiast snapshot: a century-old Super Sports, an off-road-focused Bentayga concept, a coffee-bar conversion and a new Supersports. None needs to represent the whole Bentley story on its own. The appeal lies in seeing how far apart that story's edges can sit.
Heritage meets modern experimentation
The contrast also gives Smoky a role beyond simply being the oldest vehicle present. Its 100-year gap between United States visits places the current cars against a tangible historical reference, while the newer machines move from a concept preview to an unconventional branded build and a new Supersports.
Bentley has framed Stazione Remota as part of its Tutto Bene partnership and says the collaboration will continue beyond Monterey. It has not disclosed public-access arrangements, pricing or details of later activations.
For enthusiasts, however, the immediate proposition is already clear. Four Bentleys from very different corners of the marque will share one setting, with the rare return of Smoky providing the long view and the three modern vehicles supplying the contrast.
