Three pedals spread across range

  • Hennessey has confirmed its gated six-speed manual is now available beyond the 12-car F5-M Roadster run.
  • A yellow Venom F5 Revolution Evo displayed at Monterey demonstrates the expanded manual option in practice.
  • The F5-M Roadster remains distinct through its limited allocation, open bodywork and model-specific design details.

The Hennessey Venom F5's gated six-speed manual is no longer reserved for one tiny run of roofless hypercars.

CarBuzz says Hennessey confirmed directly to the publication that the manual is now an option for other Venom F5 variants.

That moves the three-pedal set-up beyond the 12-car F5-M Roadster programme with which it was introduced.

From limited run to wider option

The manual transmission was a defining feature of the F5-M Roadster, but it was not the only detail that separated that model.

Its limited allocation, roadster body, prominent dorsal fin and personalisation programme remain specific points of difference.

Opening the gearbox to other F5 variants therefore does not turn each manual-equipped car into an F5-M. Instead, it gives buyers outside that allocation a way to choose the same kind of mechanical interaction without adopting the Roadster's complete specification and design treatment.

Hennessey design director Nathan Malinick summed up the demand plainly: "It's what people want. Everyone wants a manual."

Monterey car shows the idea

The yellow Venom F5 Revolution Evo displayed during Monterey Car Week provides the clearest example of the broadened option. The track-focused variant was shown with the gated shifter fitted, demonstrating that the manual can sit outside the original F5-M formula.

For Hennessey, the move adds another layer of choice to a range already divided into distinct road and track-focused variants. For drivers, it keeps a deliberately analogue control at the centre of an otherwise extreme modern hypercar.

Pricing for the manual option and the number of non-F5-M cars expected to receive it have not been disclosed.
